ZEXEL started manufacturing the DCW series/wobble variable displacement in 1988.

Some Volvo C30, Volvo C70, Volvo S40 and Volvo V50 are built with the same air conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM numbers) are Volvo 30676311, 30742214, 30761390, 30767273, 30780330, 36000029, 36000316, 36000570, 36001118, 8602925, 8603656.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was assembled with a Zexel DKS15D compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Zexel 506012-0473, 506012-2163, 506012-2164.
These ac units seem to be interchangeable.

Ford-Volvo-07-PXC16-PV5


SANDEN started production of electric compressor for first hybrid model of Mercedes-Benz in 2009.

Some Volvo XC 60 are built with the same air conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM numbers) are Volvo 36002585.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was assembled with a Sanden PXC16 compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Sanden 1650.
These ac units seem to be interchangeable.

Some Volvo S80, Volvo V70, Volvo XC 60, Volvo XC70 Cross Country, Volvo XC70 and Volvo XC90 are built with the same air conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM numbers) are Volvo 30780443, 30780459, 31250519, 36000231, 36000331, 36000456, 36002425, 36002747.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was assembled with a Zexel DCS17 compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Zexel 506041-0423.
These ac units seem to be interchangeable.
