ZEXEL
was originally established with an investment from Isuzu Motors Ltd., (a major
Japanese manufacturer of engines for heavy-duty vehicles), this company was
renamed ZEXEL Corp. in 1990.
Some Volvo S70, Volvo S80 and Volvo V70 are built with the same air
conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM
numbers) are Volvo 6849647, Volvo 8601632, Volvo 9171437.
The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was
assembled with a Zexel DKS15CH compressor,
compressor manufacturer numbers: Zexel 506011-8501. These ac compressors seems to be interchangeable.
